We first meet Freyja Bedwyn in A Summer to Remember. I didn't like Freyja in that book. I didn't like any of the Bedwyns, in fact.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed reading Aiden's book Slightly Married and Rannulf's Slightly Wicked. I figured that if MB could turn Rannulf into a sexy, likable hero 4/5.

Immersed in all things Bedwyn, I did at times get Slightly scandalous book little weary of Bewcastle’s quizzing glass and the abundant hauteur of the rest of the clan.

But on the whole I am finding this series entertaining, and Slightly Scandalous is another worthwhile offering. About Slightly Scandalous. Meet the Bedwyns six brothers and sisters—men and women of passion and privilege, daring and sensuality.

Enter their dazzling world of high society and breathtaking seduction where each will seek love, fight temptation, and court scandal and where Freyja Bedwyn, the wild-hearted daughter, meets her match in a man as passionate, reckless, and scandalous as she.

But Slightly Scandalous takes us into the heart and mind of this feisty, proud and complex woman and by the end of this book, I admired the woman she became once she let herself love and be loved by the unconventional and decidedly unstuffy had been engaged to Kit Butler, her neighbor, childhood friend and, for one summer, her first 5/5(5).

Slightly Scandalous is a captivating, charming, and utterly beguiling tale of two people who find love when they least expect it.

Freyja and Josh are an unexpected, altogether delightful couple. Slightly scandalous by mary balogh. BACK OF BOOK SAYS: GROWING UP WITH 4 unruly brothers has made freyja bedwyn far bolder than most society ladies. from feisty manner to long tumbling hair, lady freyja is pure fire, a woman who seeks both adventure and freedom.

I disliked Freyja Bedwyn in every one of her appearances in previous novels. The arrogance and aggressiveness she used to cover her obvious insecurity was not sympathetic so much as it was unattractive.

Even at the beginning of Slightly Scandalous, I found her unlikable. But by the end of the book, I was cheering for her and Joshua's HEA!"Slightly Scandalous," as with the first book "Slightly Married," makes for a light and pleasant romantic read.

At the same time, I couldn't help feeling some kind of morbid anxiety about it, as I wondered if Ms. Balogh would be able to redeem "lovely" Freyja.
